Great Products

I don't recommend many products because, even though most manufacturers feel they are doing the right thing, they often (usually unknowingly) include ingredients or use processes that are non-beneficial to us or our environment. To the best of my knowledge, anything listed here is absolutely non-toxic and don't do any animal testing. In a world where chemicals and drugs are the accepted norm, it's refreshing to find that some things are still unpolluted.

DEODORANT - There are only two deodorants I will use. These are both, as best I can tell, free of chemicals and pollutants. The first is Herbal Magic Roll-On Deodorant (unscented). This stuff really works for me, but I must be sensitive to one of the extracts in it because I get a bit of skin irritation if I use it for about two weeks straight. The solution I found is to alternate with Desert Essence Natural Roll-On Deodorant. I find the Desert Essence to be not quite as effective, but if I alternate it with the Herbal Magic, I don't get any reactions at all.

SOAP - For soap in bars, the best I've found is Sappo Hill Oatmeal Natural Glycerine Creme Soap. This stuff is simple. It comes in round cakes that aren't even wrapped when you find it in health food stores.

LIQUID SOAPS - I've used Desert Essence Liquid Castile Soap for shampoo and it works rather well but has a tendency to clean almost too well.

TOOTHPASTE - Baking soda. Make a paste by mixing it with a little water.
