"Last August I was at The Land of Medicine Buddha in the Santa Cruz Mountains attending a week-long retreat for A Course in Miracles students. One evening, there was a class offered on Native American healing, which I am interested in, so my friend Bill and I attended. There I met Robert Gandrup, who took me on a healing meditation to The Medicine Place. Through a series of small lectures and guided meditations, I went to The Medicine Place, and at the Healing Stone I placed my thyroid. I had been under a doctor's care for over two years trying to heal Grave's Disease, which caused my metabolism to race at nearly four times the normal speed, degrading my muscles to the point where I found it difficult to walk up a set of stairs. I had no energy, and barely made it through a day at work. By the weekends, all I could do was rest. So I placed my thyroid at the Healing Stone and offered it to the Great Spirit for healing. Several days later, it was time for my monthly blood test, and I felt very confident that the results would be perfect. When my doctor called to tell me that for the first time in two years my blood tested normal, and I could now look forward to a rich and full NORMAL life, I was not surprised, but grateful.

This ordeal went on for three years and finally we were scheduled for a trial, because my soon-to-be former spouse wanted everything we had acquired and there didn't appear to be any chance of compromise or negotiation.
